Sometimes yu need to pray for yourself. It’s not being selfish. You have to talk to God to let God know what it is. It won’t do any good to have the world pray for you, if yu won’t pray for yourself. Everynow & then we have to pray for the “Me.” Pray for the “I”. Pray for “Mine”. It’s not selfish. Just needs to be done.

One must pray for themselves as you stated. Paul in the bible tells us to encourage ourselves. There will always be moments when we need someone to encourage us and often that person is not around to do that is when we must learn to do it ourselves. As I tell people there is nothing wrong with having someone to pray for you but God hears our prayers just as well as He hears the prayer of the one who is praying for us AMEN
